Headwear is embroidery's home turf and the highest-margin square footage in the shop: 108 styles, nearly all decorated by stitch or patch, sorted into three build-and-price bands. Panel structure, profile, and closure are what separate them, because those decide what the cap can carry and what it costs.
Richardson owns the trucker, Yupoong's YP Classics line owns snapbacks and dad caps, and Flexfit owns the stretch-fitted crown it patented, with Team 365 adding a performance trucker. Price bands are tight: budget unstructured dad caps run low single digits in volume, structured truckers and snapbacks mid-to-upper single digits, so the tier choice is about silhouette as much as cost.
The Richardson 112 is the most decorated trucker in the US market: structured mid-profile front panels that hold embroidery, patches, and engraving cleanly, in over 50 stock color combinations. Its R-Flex fitted sibling, the 110, is the same look on a stretch-fit band, and Yupoong's 6606 Retro Trucker is the closest alternative when a program needs a different fit or fabric.
Beyond truckers: the Yupoong 6089 structured flat-bill snapback for streetwear, the 6245CM unstructured dad cap for the relaxed low-profile look, and the Flexfit 6277, the flagship closed-back stretch-fit, for team and uniform programs.
Structured front panels with buckram backing keep embroidery flat and make 3D puff possible; unstructured dad caps need careful hooping or a frame to avoid puckering. Mesh backs limit decoration to the front and side panels, and leather or woven patches pressed onto truckers have become a standard retail offer.
Snapbacks are one-size; stretch-fit caps like the 6277 cover most heads in two banded sizes (S/M and L/XL), still far simpler than a seven-size fitted run. Reserve true fitted sizing for athletic programs that demand it.
Every cap we stock, grouped by build and price. Each card leads a cap line (truckers, snapbacks, dad caps, beanies) with its colorways and trim variants counted beneath, so picking a line settles the silhouette before the trim.
The budget band: unstructured dad caps, basic snapbacks, and knit beanies priced for handout volume. Mostly Yupoong's YP Classics line, with Richardson's twill snapback and cuffed beanie alongside. Choose by silhouette; an unstructured crown drapes soft but needs careful hooping for clean embroidery.
