The styles that matter

The IND4000 is the flagship: a heavyweight pullover hoodie in ring-spun 3-end fleece, 70/30 cotton/poly with a 100% cotton 32- face yarn, fleece-lined hood, and heavy round drawcords. It reads and wears like retail streetwear fleece.

The SS4500 Midweight ( , 80/20 cotton/poly, jersey-lined hood) is the lighter option, with split-stitch double-needle seams throughout.

Fabric & print behavior

The 100% cotton face yarn is the decorator's reason to choose it: a smooth, low-pill surface that takes screen print cleanly and embroiders without sponginess. Heavy garments also sit flat on the , which helps registration on multi-color work.

Watch the colorway fine print: heathers run far higher in polyester (52/48 on IND4000 heathers, up to 55/45 on SS4500 heathers), so plan low-bleed inks and cooler cures on those.

When to choose Independent

Choose Independent when the hoodie is retail product, not event swag: brand drops, streetwear lines, company merch. The IND4000's weight and boxy build photograph and resell like boutique fleece. When the job wants a lighter hoodie, the SS4500 is the midweight option.
